Fully Synthetic, Semi Synthetic, and Conventional
DT-13 series engine oils represent the pinnacle of lubricant technology. Employing the latest and most robust chemistry in additive systems’ technology, DT-13 series engine oils are formulated using highly stable paraffinic base oils or synthetic oils to deliver a lubricant particularly suited to severe performance and emissions requirements of current high performance / high power density diesel engines. They are equally suited for earlier high speed 4-stroke diesel engines as well, favoring longer service life of engines, longer drain intervals, and less down-time.
DT-13 series engine oils deliver sustained durability of particulate filters and advance aftertreatment systems in on-highway vehicles running on Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel (0.0015% or 15 ppm Sulphur content). DT-13 series engine oils are equally adept for use in on-highway or off-highway vehicles without aftertreatment devices, such as DPF, when running on diesel fuel containing up to 0.05% or 500 ppm Sulphur content.
DT-13 series engine oils utilize an additive system with exceptional thermal tolerance rendering them resilient—highly resistant to deleterious effects of heat-induced degradation and depletion—a common challenge in severe operating conditions of off-highway and stationary engine applications.
DT-13 series engine oils surpass the performance criteria of lower designations—highly proficient in soot management, effectively mitigating the deleterious effects of soot induced wear, outstanding capacity for high-temperature deposit control, aeration, shear induced viscosity loss, oxidation, thickening, sludge control, and resistance to general degradation of a lubricant under severe operating conditions when up to 0.05% or 500 ppm Sulphur content diesel fuel is used.
DT-13 series engine oils retain an inherent capacity to endure prolonged service intervals without compromise. Their fortified chemistry with sufficient alkalinity reserves (base number) is engineered to withstand the rigors of diverse duty cycles and operating conditions delivering durable and reliable performance over their service life, safeguarding longevity of the engine and aftertreatment components.
