DT-3 series engine oils are formulated using well-balanced and multi-functional additive technology in combination with highly stable paraffinic base oils.
DT-3 series engine oils are recommended for use in older 4-stroke (and some 2-stroke) diesel engines with indirect injection fueling exhibiting reliable performance and protection when used in supercharged, turbocharged or naturally aspirated engines, ensuring the longevity of equipment.
DT-3 series engine oils are optimized to cope with diesel engines operating on low quality diesel fuel with sulfur content exceeding 0.5% or 5000 ppm providing adequate protection to critical engine components like piston rings, cylinder liners, bearings, and valve train components.
DT-3 series engine oils are adept at managing deposits and soot, keeping the engine clean and safe from harmful deposits over time.
DT-3 series engine oils offer enhanced protection over earlier API service categories such as API CD and CC category lubricants.
